Sales and marketing news…
…www.bealeshotels.co.uk is ever more stylish with a stunning new mobile website version, new home pages for WLP and BH, brand new WLP Special Events 2012 pages bookable online, and improving Facebook and Twitter pages too. [left hand pics]
…The WLP Special Events and Weekend Breaks 2012 is out in record breaking time with a fantastic selection of new events including a St Georges day dinner, complimentary Arboretum tours, a Taittinger champagne dinner, and a Murder mystery evening. All this as well as the usual wonderful concert dinner programme, and all the seasonal events throughout the year [bottom row 2nd pic]
However, there are many events left at WLP in 2011, including Una Birtchnell [top middle pic] cello concert on 14th October, Beale Arboretum open day on 30th October, Bonfire dinner dance 5th November, Laurel quartet [top right pic] concert on 18th November and the Colvills’ Christmas concert on 18th December. …Christmas is a busy season for us, and places are going fast at the party nights at both West Lodge Park and Beales Hotel. Don’t forget to book online as the peak nights are selling out. [bottom right 2 pics]
And finally…
…It is hard to believe that six months of this financial year are already gone.
In that time, the once great Von Essen Hotels have been sold off piecemeal, and De Vere Hotels have suffered the indignity of a euphemistically named “debt for equity swap” with Lloyds Bank (ie the bank has taken over).
Meanwhile Beales Hotels can demonstrate both solid trading while at the same time maintaining high top ten positions out of 139 hotels in Hertfordshire on Tripadvisor, and glowing reviews and scores on diverse websites such as booking.com, laterooms.com and livebookings.com.
While the eurozone disaster threatens us as much as any other business, it is thanks to hard work by all the teams, and some financially conservative policies (ie spending only what we have earned) that places Beales Hotels in a good position after these six months.
