Celebrity Politicians descend on Beales Hotels!

Congratulations to Callum Kennedy and the BH team for hosting the visit of David Cameron to the hotel on Friday. Well over 300 people from all over Hertfordshire heard David Cameron talk about his plans for the Conservative Party. Very much the person of the moment visiting the hotel of the moment.

Charles Kennedy was greeted by Andrew & Callum prior to a speaking engagement at the hotel.

Congratulations to Stella Ross-Collins who planted a Wollemi Pine at WLP to commemorate over 100 years of friendship with the owners of WLP, including with three generations of Beales.

1) Have a look at the new Press Page off the Home Page – with an archive of press articles over the past 3 years.

2) The new Staff Area is being developed, to include all up-to-date HR forms 1-43, Risk Assessment Forms, Health & Safety Forms, etc. All the forms that usually get lost on CDs or in filing cabinets will now be accessible to management & staff at the click of a mouse.

Estates News:

• Work progresses on the Buckland Deck which will create a fantastic, contemporary area for Buckland Suite guests.
• Planning permission is being sought for another floor at BH, with 16 more bedrooms, including 5 Executive Suites.

• Work continues on the Second Floor Corridor redecoration.
• Plans are being drawn up for a Foyer/Reception/Front Lounge scheme in January.
• New Signage on the estate is in position

• The sad sale of BB progresses with the anticipated completion some time in late November.
