In Memoriam – Frank Lennon (1923 – 2011)

…A wonderful man and a true friend to all who knew him at WLP. Frank worked for many years as bar tender at West Lodge Park, and delighted all who knew him with his poetry, his Irish charm and the twinkle in his eye. He will be much missed. [pic right].

Estates News…

…Yet another new bedroom at WLP, this time Room 57 [pic left] which has received new wallpaper, new wardrobe shelving, new spotlights, TV wires chased into the wall, new electric switching. It is now a fine classic double bedroom with glorious views across the WLP gardens.
…The next WLP bedrooms to receive the Beales Hotels Estates team treatment are, in order, 48, 49, 5, 17, 18, 50, 51, 20, 21, 7, 3, 82, 81.
…New breakfast and conference buffet units at BH look very smart, complete with smoked glass tops, quartzite lights, and cast iron Le Creuset pans, giving us the ability to serve a full English breakfast buffet style at BH each day. [pic right]

…The next special events at both hotels are the Brodowski String Quartet concert at WLP on Friday 18th March [top left pic], and Mothers Day lunch and afternoon tea at both WLP and BH on Sunday 3rd April .
