Estates News…

…Another newly refurbished bedroom at WLP – this time it is Bedroom 49 which has had a makeover, with a brand new bathroom, new wallpaper, new spotlights, TV leads chased into the wall, and new paintwork top to bottom. This is my favourite bedroom at WLP despite its relatively compact size because of the fantastic views of the Enfield Chace out of the double aspect windows.  

…Thank you to Grant Cook, Trevor Beale, Carolyn Mills, and Pat Skinner who all helped make the National Gardens Scheme Open Day at the Beale Arboretum another successful one, with 92 visitors raising almost ￡400 for the charity. Many visitors commented how good the trees looked despite the dry weather.

Sales News…

…The new generation of website offer has proved a success for us. These websites work on the social networking principle with a short term amazing offer sent out to a huge database. At BH our Travelzoo lunch and dinner offer at a very favourable price resulted in over 570 extra covers for the Outsidein restaurant. We have had success too with Groupon, Livingsocial and will go live soon with 40Winks.

…Special Events this month include at Fathers Day lunch at Beales Hotel, and a Summer Jazz Evening with Clark Doidge at WLP on the 10th June, and a Beekeeping Experience Day on Saturday 25th June which should be a superb opportunity to learn all about keeping bees at home.
