We have vacancies for some experienced CONFERENCE AND BANQUETING ASSISTANT on an hourly basis either full time or part time at WEST LODGE PARK HOTEL in HADLEY WOOD.

This prestigious country house hotel is rated as one of the best 4* hotels in Hertfordshire, holding 1 AA Rosette. The hotel has 59 bedrooms, 7 conference and banqueting rooms, Restaurant and Terrace Bar.

Food and Beverage Assistants / Conference and Banqueting Assistants

We are looking to recruit extra staff to join our regular casual team, with a variety of hours / shifts available, including some daytime term-time shifts, evening shifts, weekend shifts.

About the roles

  • Permanent contract working up to 42.5* hours over 5 days per week, as per rota
    (*45 hrs p.w. + 30 mins. unpaid break per shift), to include various shifts, including weekdays, evenings, 
    weekends & Bank Holidays.
  • A passion for excellent service, genuine interest and enthusiasm for hospitality
  • To be attentive and proactive with the ability to respond quickly to the needs of the guests and managers
  • Deputize for the C&B Manager in his absence.

Duties include serving food and drink in our our Restaurant, Bar, and Terrace, as well as in private functions rooms (in line with current safety guidelines), ensuring that the highest levels of hospitality are demonstrated at all times.

Experience of waiting duties required and good customer service skills are essential, and we can provide additional training too. We are looking for individuals who are good with people, confident and well-presented, good team players with a good work ethic who have a willing can-do attitude. Flexibility is required with regard to hours, which may vary considerably from one week to the next (in line with our business needs); there are no guaranteed hours and you may sometimes be required at short notice.

This is an hourly position on zero-hour contract.
