Hatfield – Matthew Gundy has moved from C& B Manager at WLP to the more senior role of F & B Manager, bringing top WLP standards into the more contemporary surroundings of BH. Christian Celia who joins BH as Head Chef.

Buckingham – Paul Capener, Head Chef, who joins after an illustrious career at prestigious hotels such as The Waldorf.

Training News

Congratulations to Kayley Fletcher (WLP) for passing her Key Skills Qualifications Level 1 (Information Communication Technology), and to Dave McIntyre (BB) for passing his Advanced Modern Apprenticeship in Hospitality Supervision (incl. NVQ Level 3)

Despite cash constraints, we have carried on with the never-ending task of upgrading the hotels. Recent improvements have included:

West Lodge Park
– Back staircase redecoration
– Rooms 29, 48 and 49 upgraded
– Safiya Health & Beauty Rooms redecoration
– Arboretum plantings and path repairs

– Repair of broken wardrobe mirrors
– Near completion of 12 month snagging list
– Redecoration of Bishop Suite and Restaurant Corridor

– New heating/AC units in the Claydon Suite
– Replacement basins in several rooms
