Farewell

To Tony King, Finance Director, retiring after an incredible 47 years at Beales Hotels.
Tony started at WLP in 1971 in the newly opened Cedar Restaurant, did management spells at Hatfield Lodge Hotel, Firs Hall and WLP before being promoted to General Manager at Hatfield Lodge Hotel in 1986. He was promoted to Finance Director in 2000.

Tony’s wife Karen was Head Chef at WLP, and the first female head chef of a four star hotel in the UK.

Tony retires to North Mymms, and to his beloved Chelsea Football Club.

We all wish him and Karen well in this new stage in their lives together, and thank Tony for such brilliant service over so many years.
