…Beales Hotels Simchas brochure is now out, covering our expertise in hosting barmitzvahs, batmitzvahs, birthday parties, wedding anniversaries etc to a key part of our loyal clientele [left pic].
…BH Christmas 2010 brochure is now out too, with a host of great events at this stunning hotel during December. We already have plenty of enquiries even though most of us haven’t even worked out what we are doing at Easter, let alone Christmas! [middle pic]
…New Spring and Summer Food and Drink Menu at WLP, with lots of delicious new dishes served in our restaurant, bar and room service areas [right pic].
Estates news
…Another lovely bedroom upgraded at WLP – this time it is Bedroom 26 that has received the Zoffany wallpaper treatment, a repaint, and a new carpet. All that remains for this room is the delivery in April of a deluxe new Hypnos zip and link bed with leather base which will enable this bedroom to be let as a very comfortable double or twin [pics right].
• A new fireplace has been installed at WLP. Following a series of chimney fires and full evacuations of the hotel, it has been reluctantly decided to install a nice living flame gas fire in the front lounge. This was not an easy decision, but the odd shape of the chimney has led to many fires over the years, and the risk to this lovely old building is now too great.
• At BH we are installing the same Free Wifi system for our guests that we have introduced at WLP – at BH we already had free wired broadband in every meeting room and bedroom – this will take our service one step further with free wifi in every area of the hotel – a facility that is bound to be popular with our guests.
• At BH we are also installing a smart 32” flat screen HD TV in TalkBar, with one eye to the forthcoming world cup! When not showing football matches, the screen will silently show scrolling BBC News channel.
